Universiteit Twente
All membrane research performed at the Dutch University is clustered in the Membrane Alliance Twente at Enschede. Research in the Inorganic Membrane (IM) group encompasses macro as well as micro scale phenomena related to the development of new membrane materials and the design of membrane processes and membrane reactors. The IM group focuses on research topics concerning advanced ceramics, solid state ionics, and porous ceramic membranes. With strong links to the IM group, the European Membrane Institute Twente (EMI) was founded in 1995. The purpose of EMI is to offer industry and public organisations a platform where short-term research and development projects in the field of membrane science and technology can be carried out. EMI is active in a wide range of areas including consultancy; desktop studies; sales of membrane related equipment; applied research; and product development.

Keranor AS
KeraNor is a limited company located in Oslo, Norway. It has its own production and laboratory facilities and currently employs six full time staff. KeraNor is a developer, producer and supplier of flat ceramic filters, membranes and porous plates. Their products include filters, membranes and membrane reactors for micro, ultra, and nano filtration purposes. KeraNor also develops materials for porous products with special corrosion resistant properties. KeraNor's international project experience consists of active participation in the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th versions of the EU Framework Program. Additionally, KeraNor have worked with the Eureka Eurostars program plus many nationally funded projects in Norway.

TRSA is an international general contractor, engaging in the engineering, design and construction of various types of industrial facilities for a broad spectrum of customers throughout the world. Most of their business activity is concentrated on large turnkey industrial projects, although they also provide engineering, management, start-up and operating services for industrial plants from their Madrid location. Their Proprietary Technology Division (TR's R&D Centre) involves a continuous research and development effort aimed at generating proprietary know-how. Their goal is to create new innovative process technologies and applications.

Jozef Stefan Institute:
The Jožef Stefan Institute  (JSI) is the leading research organization for pure and applied research in the natural sciences and technology within Slovenia. Their Electronic Ceramics Department is active in the research of the synthesis, properties and applications of materials for electronics and energy (mainly relating to complex multifunctional materials and structures). The materials of interest include ceramic piezoelectrics, ferroelectrics, relaxors, multiferroics and conductive oxides. The main objective is to make specific properties via synthesis and structuring on the nano-, micro- and macro-levels.  JSI also works on principles relating to basic technologies of ceramic pressure sensors, ceramic MEMS and flexible electronics.

HIPOT-RR Raziskavein Razvoj Tehnologij in Sistemov Doo:

The Company HIPOT-RR raziskave in razvoj tehnologij in sistemov, d.o.o. (English: HIPOT R&D Research and Development in Technologies and Systems) is a Slovenian SME with four full-time employees and several part-time members of staff. The Company was established in 1996 to act as a marketing, research and development, and technology transfer organization. Marketing activities are directed at the European automotive, industrial and home-appliance markets mostly in Germany, Austria and Italy. HIPOT is responsible for research, development and technology transfer in the fields of thick-film hybrid microelectronics, sensors, electronics, electronics technologies, and electromechanical devices and systems. Furthermore, HIPOT works in close relationship with scientific institutions and technical associations both within Slovenia and worldwide.

 

Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa:
The Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa (CST) is a public health consortium which is comprised of sixteen healthcare centres.  CST provides integrated healthcare services to its patients who have all types of acute and chronic diseases. Located in Terrassa, a city close to Barcelona, the CST covers a population of around 200,000 people. CST has a reference clinical laboratory, excellent clinical diagnostic imaging facilities and various medical technological equipment for surgical and diagnostic purposes. Research programmes at CST are aimed at Geriatrics, Cardiology, Digestive system, Molecular Genetics, Oncology, Neuropsychology and Cognitive Rehabilitation.

VirtualPIE LTD (BHR GROUP) :
VirtualPiE T/A BHR Group is an SME consultancy and research organization specialising in product systems development and design engineering using simulation of extreme operating environments to enhance product and process performance. It has expertise in all aspects of fluid dynamics and mechanics, reaction engineering and modeling using physical and computational methods. It has executed FP7 research projects on microfluidic flow including modeling of flows and mixing in small channels (Dinamics) as well as enhancing the effluent treatment systems (Biowell) from their English Midlands location.
